College girl molested in public toilet by a youth

In a shocking incident, despite the Bollywood movie like Padman, Toilet had raised the issue on Woman safety and hygiene are remaining deaf hears of administrative, as in Pune a college-going minor girl was molested in public toilet on wee hours of Thursday.

The incident had come to light after victim mother (34), a resident of Dattawadi lodged a complaint with Dattawadi police station against the suspect who is identified as Vinod Kamble. He is on run. The Dattawadi police have registered the case against Vinod Kamble under the relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC), 1860 comprises of molestation (354) and also slapped under the relevant sections of The Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act.

Speaking to NP News reporter victim’s mother said, “with hard day’s, I am raising my daughter and sons. In our area, we use the public toilet. My daughter college in outskirt area of City for which she gets up at 5 am and rush to the public toilet for natural calls and refreshment purpose. Usually, I do accompany her to the toilet but considering the daily woes of three children tiffin and kitchen work I was unable to do so.”

She went on, “The public toilet is some 500 Meters away from our house and constantly worried about electricity issue, I myself placed the bulb in the toilet so that they don’t face the problem.”

She added, “on Thursday 5.45 am as usual she got up and went to utilized our area public toilet and she was alone. We usually carry stick along with us. But unfortunately, on Thursday she was alone and this suspect initially was whistling and later when he noticed my daughter was coming out he gagged her mouth, touch her objectionable and … ” Complaint wept.

Victim mother said,” my daughter hit him with the bucket and escape. Later informed us. Initially many local residents informed me not to approach police and mutually settled the issue but we are human and our security is also important what happens if we live in the slum and use the public toilet isn’t it falls evil and atrocity of woman. My only concern is my daughter safety after registering the case.”

According to police, “soon after the victim mother registered the case he is on run. Soon we shall arrest him.”

Police Sub Inspector Hajare is investigating the case.
