To increase in security and for brief up, easy check-in for passenger Airports Authority of India (AAI) has decided to install latest and advanced technology of Face scanning in the airport. After installing face-scanning system the passenger will get entry by scanning their face and ticket.

Officials of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) say the ‘DigiYatra’ scheme will soon be implemented by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Under this scheme, a passenger going to the terminal can get his image captured and ticket scanned, after this passenger will get enter, without waiting in queues at the entrance.

This advanced technology will save the time of passengers and also ensure better security for airports. At first, on a trial basis, it will be implemented at a few airports, including Kolkata, Varanasi, Vijayawada, and Pune, after which the technology will be implemented in other airports, said, official.
