Engineering student hanged herself in College hostel

Parents have a lot of expectations when they send their kids, with heavy hearts they send their kids far away from them thinking that they would do well in their career.

As soon as the child steps out of her home, he/she enters into another world, where the child has to judge between right and wrong and take steps accordingly.

But, what if the child is mis-leaded from its path and lands ending his/her life? Reasons could be any stress depression, peer pressure but mostly stress.

In a shocking incident, an Engineering student in a Sangli based hostel named Walchand College of Engineering committed suicide after she hanged herself.

On Thursday morning, all of friends had gone to college and Akshata didn’t taking advantage of which, she tied a knot from the ceiling fan and hanged herself.

When the girls of college came back from college, they found the dead body of the deceased hanging. Panic and terror was created in the entire hostel campus.

The name of the deceased is Akshata Koshti and was a resident of Daflapur. She was studying BI civil engineering. Though the reason of suicide is yet not clear. This incident has left the entire college campus in utter shock and demise including her parents and loved ones.

Akshata used to live in the college hostel. She used to live with her 5 more friends in the same room.

The information about this incident was given by the college administration in the Vishrambaug police  station.

Vishrambaug Police has sent the body for post-mortem. The reason of the suicide is not yet determined as police is still investigating further in this case.
