NpNews24 Online – Chief Minister Eknath Shinde felicitated Pune’s pupil, Sanskar Hrishikesh Khatavkar for setting a world record of reciting Shiv Tandav and Mahishasurmardini Stotra in just 5 minutes 51 seconds. During his visit to the Ministry, the Chief Minister felicitated Sanskar and praised his record. On the occasion, Health Minister Prof. Dr. Tanajirao Sawant along with Sanskar’s father Hrishikesh Khatavkar and others were present.
Sanskar, who is studying in the third standard at Modern Pre-Primary School in Shivajinagar, recently achieved this record. His record has been noted in India Book of Records and World Book of Records London. By reciting the Mahishasuramardini Stotram in 3 minutes and 7 seconds, he broke the Kerala girl’s record of 3 minutes and 44 seconds.
Hrishikesh Khatavkar said, “Mahishasura Mardini stotram and Shiva Tandava stotram are difficult to sing. However, we have been preparing for the last three years. Due to the closure of schools during Corona, we got more time. His mother Monika Khatavkar also taught him well. We are happy to receive appreciation from the chief minister of Maharashtra.”
