Drunken man held the collar of an on-duty police in police station

PUNE: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Police are there to keep the peace and harmony of the society but there are some anti-social elements who keep disturbing the peace. On the same background police took into custody a drunken man who was doing vulgar gestures on road and was abusing verbally to anyone on the road. When the police took him to the station he held the collar of the police officer.

When the man was taken to the police station he started tearing his own clothes and he did not just stop on that but he also held the collar of the police officer who was on duty. This incident took place on December 9.

The name of the person is Atul Gadave, whose age is 36 and lives in Thergaon and hails from Solapur. Police Naik Abhijeet Baalu has registered a complaint against him.

Police gave the information that the culprit was in a car registered number MH 12PQ 0774. He was doing vulgar gestures to an unknown woman on the road. Police immediately took him in custody and ask him to give car papers.

When police brought him to station he started fighting with police. He accuses police of molestation woman and held the collar of police. He even said that no one can harm him as he has cases of murder on him. Then he started tearing his own clothes and bashed his head on the station wall.

The Wakad police are investigating further in this matter.
