Mulik said, “MVA candidate Dhangekar, who is known to change parties frequently, is accusing voters in Kasba Peth of accepting money. This is an insult of all voters in Kasba Peth and they will not tolerate it. Dhangekar is trying to gain sympathy by levelling allegations against the BJP’s candidate. He is doing this because he knows that he would lose the election. We would not tolerate such allegations.”

“After the campaign ended at 5 pm on Friday, Dhangekar is levelling false allegations and resorting to stunts and is campaigning indirectly. He is going to sit on a fast. If he does this, then BJP will lodge a complaint with the Election Commission and demand that his candidature should be cancelled. Activists of BJP are going to perform aarti at Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati and Punyeshwar Temple and urge the Lord to bestow wisdom to Dhangekar,” he added.
