Country’s first  Grey Water treatment will be the permanent solution of water crisis: Ashok Chavan

The former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Ashok Chavan said, “The Grey Water Processing and recycling project will be the solution for water crisis. This kind of project should be promoted everywhere in Maharashtra. The former Deputy Mayor Aba Bagul was the man behind this Project’s idea.” This project was initiated by collective efforts of Pune Municipal Corporation and former Deputy Mayor Aba Bagul.

Country’s first Grey Water processing project which was the concept of former Deputy Mayor Aba Bagul was inaugurated by MP Ashok Chavan at Sahkarnagar’s Vasantrao Bagul Park, Pune. Former MLA Ulhas Pawar and Mohan Joshi, former minister Balasaheb Shivkar, Nanded MLA Amarnath Rajurkar, City Congress president Ramesh Bagve, former mayor Kamal Vavyahare, corporator Sujata Shetty, Lata Rajguru, Sangeeta Tiwari, corporator Mahesh Wabale, corporator Manish Anand, Pune city district Congress general secretary Amit Bagul and other dignitaries were present.

MP Ashok Chavan said that due to the rising of population, uncertainty of nature and falling down of underground water level will create war like situation in future, and this country’s first Grey Water processing project will be the permanent solution for such water crisis. And it is the need of time that, every municipal corporation should set up such projects.

He further added that, “It is not an easy  thing for any person, to elects for six consecutive terms and Aba Bagul did it. Aba Bagul showed that, there is nothing impossible, if one can use the creativity in his work. I have seen the water recycling project ten years ago at Singapore and also have an experience of reaching the water through train. So, the initiative taken by Aba Bagul for reuse of water will be beneficial for all. Seeing the imagination and foresight of Aba Bagul, his future is bright and the Congress party is always with him.” He also pointed out that former Chief Minister Sudhakar Naik had implemented the concept of Pani adva – Pani Jirva.”

Former Deputy Mayor Aba Bagul said, “The country’s first Grey Water Processing Project has been set up, which is important to reuse the water used for cooking and bathing. The project has been set up according to the criteria of Maharashtra Pollution Board.  I fulfilled the responsibilities given by the party, so I have gained the support and have been elected for six consecutive elections.”

Abba Bagul is the eighth wonder:

While praising the work of Abba Bagul, Ashok Chavan said, “der aye, durust aye, aba, kuch to dam hai Ashok Chavan said that Abba Bagul is a very effective leader and future is bright! There are seven wonders in the world; But Abba Bagul is the eighth wonder. I have seen his work, even an MLA has no such report!”
