Corona Medicine is Here… Trial Shows Good Effect on Patients, Final Result Yet to Come

Washington : For the last four months, Coronavirus has created a panic worldwide. Scientists of many countries are constantly doing research to prepare medicines for this. Meanwhile, American company Gilead Scienece has made a big announcement. The company says that it has prepared a medicine, which has started showing its effect on patients with corona virus.

According to this report published in the New England General of Medicine, the clinical trial of this drug of Gilead science was done. Under this, 53 such patients were selected who were seriously ill due to Coronavirus. Half of the patients were removed from the ventilator as soon as they were given this medicine, while 47 percent of the patients were later discharged from the hospital. Under this trial, drug doses were given to patients from different countries, including patients from the US, Europe, Canada and Japan.

After this news is out, worldwide expectations have been aroused. However, the company says that it cannot be said that corona patients will be cured with this medicine. It could not be ascertained that if these patients were not given these medicines, would they have been cured or not. At the moment, scientists have said that nothing can be said right now, but expectations have certainly been aroused.

There will be more trials
Meanwhile, the American company has said that they are trialing their medicines in many other places and some better results may come in May. In many countries of the world, research is being done on different drugs, including malaria medicines. US President Donald Trump has said that malaria medicine can prove to be a game changer for the world.
