Cleanliness Campaign by Railway administration

The Railway Administration has taken strict measures to create a clean and beautiful environment at the railway station, as daily almost there are two to three lakh passengers. Passenger will be charged fine if they are found the offence. Under these 4 lakhs 73 thousand fine has been recovered from 2.5 thousand passengers in the last four months.

Central Railway’s Pune railway station has carried out a campaign in which passengers will be charge fine if found littering. During this period, action has been taken on two and a half thousand passengers from April to July.

On one hand, cleanliness is being done consistently while some passengers unknowingly throw garbage in the local railway station area, this happens due to lack of knowledge. After eating passengers throw its wrapper, paper plate on railway station while some passengers are found spitting gutkha, tobacco. The Railway Administration is trying to find such passengers and charge them.

160 employees for cleanliness

160 employees have been appointed for cleaning work at Pune railway station. The railway administration claims that 24 hours cleanliness work is being done.

After entering the railway station, the passengers should be pleased due to clean environment. The station premises platform, pedestrian is being cleaned at certain intervals by the employees. Recently in a Railway Clean Survey, Pune station is being included in the 10 major station in country’s cleanest train, the railway administration has given this information.

Now passenger can contact Railway Administration regarding cleanliness, due to which the administration will also get the information about the feculent places. Photos of uncleanliness at all railway stations of central railway, Pune division can now be directly sent to the Railway Administration. This campaign of cleanliness should be worked out properly, so this step has been taken by the Railway administration. The administration has also requested passengers to participate in this campaign.
