Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said situation to get worst, strict actions will be taken if the guidelines are not followed

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said, ‘the situation in Maharashtra may become more serious in the coming days as the number of coronavirus infected has exceeded 1 million on Saturday.

He further added, ‘we are doing aeffective work to deal with the coronavirus.

Referring to strict measures to control the corona, Uddhav Thackeray said, “The state government can take some drastic steps to ensure social distancing rules”. This measures will be taken against the state
who break the COVID-19 rules.

The Chief Minister announced house-to-house survey will be started across the state from September 15, appealed to the people to participate actively in it.

During his 40-minute address, Thackeray appealed to the Maratha community not to stage a sit-in protest in view of the pandemic. “I appeal to the Maratha community not to hold any protest, as the state government is with them and is making all efforts to provide them reservation,” he said. The protest is justified only when the government is not listening to your demands.
