Chandrakant Patil always celebrates his birthday every year with a social cause and by avoiding western style celebrations. This year, he celebrated his birthday by appealing to activists not to bring bouquets or gifts and instead provide financial help to poor patients.

Patil’s appeal evoked a good response. All activists and office-bearers presented cheques to him. Many dignitaries from different walks of life extend their greetings to Patil.

The President of State Cooperative Council Vidyadhar Anaskar, MLA Madhuri Misal, MLA Shwini Jagtap, MLA Bhimrao Tapkir, MLA Ravindra Dhangekar, City unit chief of BJP Jagdish Mulik, Dheeraj Ghate, Chairperson of State Women’s Commission Rupali Chakankar, Hemant Rasane, Vice-President of State unit Rajesh Pande, General Secretary Murlidhar Mohol, Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, DCP Suhail Sharma, entrepreneur Sameer Patil, NCP district unit chief Pradeep Garatkar, NCP city unit chief Prashant Jagtap, Deepak Mankar, DCP (Traffic) Vijay Magar and several other dignitaries extended their wishes to Patil.

They handed over cheques to Patil who thanked them for their kind gesture. He also said that he was always ready to serve the people. Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil had issued an appeal that instead of presenting him bouquets and gifts, people should help the needy and poor patients. Businessman Sameer Patil presented a cheque of ₹501000 to Patil and he was accompanied by Smita Sameer Patil, Ad Tanisha Patil. Ajalitai Patil was also present.
