Los Angeles : The world-renowned and prestigious Oscar award ceremony began on Monday morning. Hollywood celebrity Brad Pitt honored for the first time as a supporting actor. Brad Pitt has received an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’. Laura Dern has been awarded Best Supporting Actress for ‘Marriage Story’.

The Oscar Award ceremony of the prestigious 19th Academy Awards worldwide began at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Apart from Brad Pitt- Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkins, Joey Pesky and Al Pacino were nominated for Best Supporting Actors. On winning the first Oscar, Brad Pitt dedicated this to his son.

Laura Dern’s birthday is today. She must have got the best birthday present ever. Laura Dern received the Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in the movie ‘Marriage Story’. Margot Robbie, Florence Pugh, Scarlett Johansson, Kathy Bates were also nominated. “Didn’t expect to get such a great birthday gift”, she said. The South Korean film has won an Oscar for the first time. Scriptwriters Bong Joon Ho and Han Jin have been awarded the Best Original Screenplay for the film Parasite.
