Bhosari-based company duped of Rs 3 cr by partner and an employee
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Pimpri Chinchwad Crime | A man gained trust by making partnership in the company by luring the original owner promising the company’s multifold growth. Later, while holding the position of director, he duped the company of Rs 3 crore with the help of his own employee. The incident happened at Hrithik Tools Pvt Ltd at MIDC Bhosari between 2015 to 2017. (Pune Pimpri Chinchwad Crime)
A 60-year-old woman lodged a complaint at the MIDC Bhosari Police Station on Thursday. Accordingly, an FIR has been registered under sections 409, 406, 420, 477 of the IPC against the company’s director Anand Ishwarchand Mittal (43) from Wakad and employee Tejashree Bhimsha Shetty (37) from Bhosari.
According to the police, Mittal promised the complainant that he would develop her husband’s company and made a partnership. While holding the post of director in the company, he along with Shetty, mutually signed a challan of Rs 1,75,04,102 for 18,314 units made in the company. They also signed another challan of Rs 1,28,40,329 for 93,729 units of coating material of the company and mutually deposited Rs 3,03,44,431 paid by the customer into their own accounts without making a bill of that amount. The incident came to light when the complainant checked the bill book. The police are conducting further investigation.
