‘Bharatiya Bhasha Samman Yatra’ for the honor of Indian languages

Pune: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- “Mahatma Gandhi had said that the nation which does not have the national language, is a silent nation. India is a nation full of diversities, it has many languages, but many of them are napoo today. ‘First preference to mother tongue and then the Nation Language.’ If there can be a national animal, national bird, and national currency in our country, then why is not the national language yet declared? ” Vijaykumar Jain, senior journalist and editor said
To meet few demands like declare constitutional national language, Hindi and regional language as state language, and to give the identity to country as Bharat instead of India, ‘Bharatiya Bhasha Samman Yatra’ have been arranged from December 25, 2018 till 4 January 2019. “Accept Indian language” – the delegation of 500 Indians under this campaign will make efforts to aware citizens of India by roaming across the country.
ML Gupta, National Language Committee, the National Language Department of Indian Government said, “Maybe after two generations children will not be speaking mother tongue, languages are disappearing, it is said that if you wish to destroy a country then its language should be destroyed first.  How will you define a culture without your language? Today there is more fear of English than terrorism in India. “
Dr. Kalyan Gangwal said, “When I visit the international conferences, I observe that the doctors and scientists coming from abroad are conversing in their mother tongue and presenting their research papers in their regional language. 15 years ago, Acharya Vidyasagarji had told me to make efforts to aware children in school about the history of Bharat which used to be the name of our country before India.”
This yatra started from Mumbai at 6.00 am in guidelines of senior journalist and editor Vijaykumar Jain. This yatra reached Pune on Tuesday 25 December at 12.30 pm at Mahavir Pratishthan where a press conference was held.
During the press conference, Dr. Kalyan Gangwal, Vijay Bhandari, the chief organizer of the campaign Former President of ‘Jito’ Vijaykant Kothari of Mahavir Pratishthan, Kantilal Oswal, Popatlal Ostwal of Poona Merchant Chamber, Ramesh Oswal and others were present.
With the message ‘First Regional Language then national language’, this yatra will be carried out in all over in India which will include Nipani, Belgaum, Mangalore, Kumta, Kannur, Kozhikode, Karnataka, Mumbai, Pune, Satara, Coimbatore, Salem, Chennai in Andhra Pradesh, Nellor in Vijayawada, Telangana in Hyderabad, Adilabad and  then it will reach Delhi via Nagpur in Maharashtra, Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, Narsinghpur, Lalitpur, and Agra in Uttar Pradesh.
On the occasion of Hindi Language Day, on 4 January 2019, the delegation will request President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to meet their demands.
