Baner: Open chamber in midst of main road puts lives of motorists in danger

Pune: An open chamber in the middle of main Baner road in front of hotel Bhairavi is putting the lives of motorists in grave danger.

Citizens in Baner have demanded that the broken chamber cover should be repaired immediately in order to prevent fatal accidents on the road.

The broken chamber cover in front of hotel Bhairavi has created a huge pit on the Baner road. Thousands of motorists heading towards the Mumbai-Bangalore highway from Shivajinagar area use this road daily. Some citizens have covered the open chamber with some dry coconut tree branches and some marble stones.

Sandeep Chabukswar, Junior Engineer at the Road Department of Pune Municipal Corporation assured that the chamber cover will be repaired and installed immediately.
