Woman’s body found in sack near Daund

The incident took place in Pargaon area of Daund on Wednesday night. After the murder of the woman her body was stuffed in a sack and then thrown in Bhima river in Pargaon in Daund taluka, on Wednesday night.

Police said that the woman is aged around 30-year-old and she is yet to be identified. She was strangled to death.

Officials from Yavat police station under Pune rural police are investigating the case.

Police have appealed citizens contact police if they have any information about the woman or her killer. The identity of the informer will be kept secret.
