Woman raped at gunpoint in Kondhwa; Complainant had demanded ₹4 crore which she had given him

A 48-year-old woman has lodged a complaint (406/23) at the Kondhwa police station. Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR against Jugnu alias Shafiq Shaikh (45), Mushtaq Momin, Ketan and Maharaj.

According to the police, the complainant and Jugnu Shaikh were part of a bhishi group. The bhishi ended in 2020. Later, Shaikh told the complainant that they should do some other business and took six instalments of ₹50 lakh i.e. ₹4 crore from the complainant and her friend in 2020-21. However, he did not give any return and cheated them.

The complainant went to Shaikh’s house to demand money. Shaikh called her to the bedroom and raped her at gunpoint. The other accused took photos and videos. Shaikh threatened to kill the complainant and forced her to have sex with him regularly. Since the complainant was fed up, she approached the police and lodged a complaint. PSI Shaikh is probing the case.
