What is surrogacy?
Surrogacy is actually the process in which a couple uses the womb of a third woman to produce their offspring. This womb can also be rented and can also be by mutual consent. That is, a woman’s egg, a man’s semen and a third woman’s uterus. This whole process is done under the supervision of experienced doctors and this process itself is called surrogacy.
In the process of surrogacy, these eggs are removed from the woman’s womb and implanted in the womb of another healthy woman at a period after the egg is fertilized in the uterus of the first woman. Where that egg is fully developed and the baby is born at a certain time. In such a situation, a woman who gives birth to a child with her womb is called a surrogate mother.

Types of surrogacy
Traditional Surrogacy- In this surrogacy, the father’s sperm is mixed with the eggs of a woman. In this surrogacy, the genetic relationship remains only with the father.
Gestational Surrogacy – In this surrogacy, a mixture of parental sperm and eggs is implanted into the uterus of the surrogate mother through a test tube.
