Let them investigate it, but at the same time, probe Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Mira-Bhayandar municipal corporations also. We waived tax for Mumbaiites living in 500-sq ft houses, but they removed the 40-pc property tax exemption given to Puneites. The rally was organised in the heart of the city under the leadership of Aaditya Thackeray for the campaign of Ravindra Dhangekar, the candidate of the MVA from the Kasba Peth Assembly Constituency. Thackeray was speaking at a meeting held after the conclusion of the rally at the Sakhalipir Taleem in Nana Peth. Leaders of Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Shiv Sena and allied parties were present.

Aaditya Thackeray said, the MVA Government has brought many industries in the state during the two-and-a-half-year COVID period. Construction of these industries is in the final stage and this will generate employment on a large scale. On the contrary, today’s treacherous government has decided to shift industry from here to Gujarat. Farmers, workers, and students are in trouble. Those who betrayed the Shiv Sena have taken money boxes and are sitting in the lap of Delhiites. People didn’t like the betrayal of Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sena. That’s why the scared BJP-Shinde government is afraid of holding elections. The only programme of grabbing power is going on at present, keeping the people’s issues aside, and only by causing quarrels between caste and religion.

The entire country is watching the Kasba Peth bye-election. Pune was the first city to rebel against Adil Shah, Mughals and British. Therefore, this election is also going to give direction to the country. This election will bring in Swarajya envisioned by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Constitution, Mahatma Phule’s movement. Thackeray appealed to voters to send an activist like Ravindra Dhangenkar to the Legislative Assembly to solve problems of the Puneites.
