VISIT OF PERSONNEL FROM NAB LION’S HOME FOR THE AGEING BLIND, SAMVAD SCHOOL AND BALGRAM ORPHANAGE TO INS SHIVAJI

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – As a part of the Navy Week celebrations-2018, personnel from NAB Lion’s Home for the ageing blind, Samvad School & Balgram Orphanage visited INS Shivaji on 28 Nov 18. A total of 180 men, women and children attended the Barakhana organised by the Unit on this occasion.

Water sports for all staff and children of Balgram Orphanage and Specially Abled members of Samvad School were also conducted. Commanding Officer, INS Shivaji and President NWWA with ‘Team Shivaji’ Station Lonavala interacted with the guests.

NWWA, Station Lonavla reached out to the NAB Lions Home and presented them with the items of day-to-day use, voluntarily donated by various families of the Station. On completion of Barakhana, a Hindi movie ‘Namaste England’ was screened for children and staff of Balgram Orphanage in the Station Auditorium.
