A war is not lost because of a soldier’s absence, says MNS leader Vasant More

Pune : NpNews24 OnlineVasant More | MNS Chief Raj Thackeray made an appeal to his supporters and all Hindus in the country after Ramzan Eid. Whenever azaan is played, Hanuman Chalisa should be played at double the volume, Raj Thackeray had said. After his appeal, Hanuman Chalisa was played at many places. However, former chief of Pune unit of MNS Vasant More was not seen in any of the agitations launched by MNS. This had led to a lot of speculation in political circles. Now, Vasant More has given his reaction to the issue.

“If a soldier is not present in the war, no one loses the war. During my absence also, our activists were on the streets. There are some differences of opinion but we think along the same lines. I am a committed foot soldier of the party,” Vasant More said.

Raj Thackeray had called me for the public meeting held in Thane. “There was a marriage programme in my family but I cancelled the programme. I convinced my family members that if I don’t go to Thane, it will create confusion in the party. Hence, I cannot skip the meeting,” More said.

“Meanwhile, there was no aarti in my area. Muslim brothers hold a silent azaan and it is held internally. They responded to my appeal,” he said.
