UP Madrasa Near Nepal Border on IB’s Radar, Information Asked from Police

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, Madrasas located in the districts bordering Nepal have come on the radar of Intelligence Bureau (IB). The intelligence department has sought all information from the Uttar Pradesh police about these madrasas. According to reports, the IB had sought details of these madrasas from the police on 26 February following violence at some places in UP. According to reports, the funding of these madrasas is being investigated as to where the money has come from.

According to reports, the IB has sought information from the UP police about all the madrasas built in the adjoining districts of Nepal. This is the reason that the UP police is busy in every detail of madrasas in all the districts adjoining Nepal. According to reports, the IB has asked the police to find out what happened in these madrasas in recent times. The police will also find out from where the money came from whatever work was done in those madrasas. Along with this, it has been said to collect information about the ownership of Madrasa land.

The IB has sought information about the madrasas of 7 such districts of UP which are on Nepal border. These districts include Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur and Pilibhit. UP Police has started investigating the Madrasas located in these districts on the instructions of the IB. There were protests in many places in Uttar Pradesh in the past days regarding CAA. In some places, violence also took place during protests in which many people were killed. This information has been sought by the IB from the police after this violence.
