Union Minister For Ayush Shripad Naik Tested Positive For Coronavirus

New Delhi: Union Minister for Ayush Shripad Naik has tested positive for coronavirus today, making him the fifth minister in the Narendra Modi government to have tested for Covid-19.

I underwent Covid-19 test today & it has turned out assymptomaically positive. My vitals are within normal limits and I have opted for home isolation.
Those who have came in contact with me in last few days are advised to get tested for themselves and take required precautions.

Informing about his test result, Shripad Naik said, “I underwent Covid-19 test today and it has turned out asymptomatically positive. My vitals are within normal limits and I have opted for home isolation. Those who came in contact with me in the last few days are advised to get tested for themselves and take required precaution (sic).”

Prior to Shripad Naik, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Arjun Meghwal and Kailash Chaudhary had tested positive for coronavirus. In April, Ayush minister Shripad Naik, who has tested positive today for Covid-19, had expressed confidence that the viral infection can be treated with Ayurveda.
