Uddhav and Sharad Pawar’s phones were tapped during the Assembly Elections !

NP NEWS 24 : Mumbai : Shocking details have come out that Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray and NCP’s Sharad Pawar’s phones were being tapped during the Maharashtra Assembly elections. On Friday, January 24, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had ordered an inquiry into the matter and reported it to himself.

After the disagreement over the issue of forming a governement between the Shiv Sena and the BJP, Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s phones were being taped. Sanjay Raut said, “Your phone is being tapped. This was told to me by a senior BJP minister earlier. I told him whoever wishes to listen to my conversations is free to do so. I am a disciple of Balasaheb Thackeray, I don’t do anything secretly.”

Anil Deshmukh, a minister in the state, said that as per the information we received, most of the non-BJP leaders’ phones were taped. Now we have ordered an investigation. Immediately after Anil Deshmukh’s statement, Sanjay Raut said that he was given this information by a BJP leader. He even told the BJP leader who gave this information that he was not afraid of anyone.

Reports say the phones of leaders such as NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray were also being tapped apart from that of Sanjay Raut. The phone tapping also went on even after the elections were over and when the negotiations between the parties went on for months before NCP, Shiv Sena and Congress finally entered a coalition.

Maharashtra’s home department has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
