UAE to Launch Its First ‘Hope Mars Mission’ On July 15

Dubai : The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be the first country in the world of Arab countries to launch a mission to Mars. In the next 40 days the United Arab Emirates will launch its Mars mission. This mission will reach the orbit of Mars by February next year. The UAE wants to tell through this mission that it too is moving forward in the world of space science.

The United Arab Emirates will launch its ‘Hope Mars Mission’ on 15 July. Its preparation has been going on since 2014. Omran Sharaf, the project manager of this mission, said that we want the UAE to be counted among the countries of the world that have reached Mars.

Omran told that we are not going to take off satellites, rovers or robots on Mars. Rather, they will launch a satellite circling around Mars in its orbit. Which will give us information about the entire martian year and the climate there.

The deputy project manager of this mission, Sara-Al-Amiri, said that the UAE’s Mars mission will tell what is the reason for the constant changes in the atmosphere of Mars. How much oxygen and hydrogen is on the surface of Mars.

Sarah said that we will give data from Mars to more than 200 institutes around the world to study. It also includes the US space agency NASA. Apart from this, data from Mars will also be examined and studied.

China and America are also going to launch their Mars mission in July itself. But the mission of China and America will have nothing to do with the mission of the United Arab Emirates. The launch window of the three countries is one, but the launching will be different.

Omran Sharaf says that the United Arab Emirates, which became a country 50 years ago, has plenty of money. But now they also have an engineering talent and a scientific base. 50 percent of Mars missions fail. So I do not guarantee success but will complete the effort.
