NCP MLA Amol Mitkari tweeted a video and brought this incident to the attention. Mitkari has alleged that even after awarding the tender of thousands of crores to a contractor, such kind of arrangements have been made by the contractor to wash the teacups and saucers.
Amol Mitkari writes on Twitter that, after awarding the tender of thousands of crores to the contractor, special toilets were arranged by the contractors to wash the teacups and saucers of the MLAs.
The winter session was not held in Nagpur due to the outbreak of COVID in the last two years. After the threat of COVID is over, now for the first time, the winter session is being held in Nagpur. Tenders were floated for maintenance, repair, facilities and other similar works of MLA quarters and Vidhan Bhavan. The government had spent crores of rupees on it. However, no sufficient water was available. It has been revealed that the servants in the MLA residence are actually using water from the toilet to wash the cup saucers.
