A case has been registered in this matter at the Wanawadi Police Station.
According to the police, there are two battalions of SRPF Group 1 and 2 in Ramtekdi area of Wanawadi. No one can enter this place without permission. There is a 24-hour police guard at the entrance. Yet three to four sandalwood thieves entered the bungalow area of SRPF Group 1. They cut down a sandalwood tree and stole it away. Many sandalwood trees in the premises of NCL and other army and government offices have been cut and stolen by thieves in the past.
