Techie forces wife to have sex with Professor friend for child’

Pune: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – In a shocking incident, a 26-year-old woman has registered a case with Kondhwa police station, Pune city police, alleging that her husband has been forcing her to have sex with his friend to get a child.

As per the complaint, the woman married the accused husband in 2011. He works with a software company and earns Rs 80,000 per month. Initially, there were several miscarriages.  Later her in-laws got her surgery done and removed her fallopian tube without her knowledge. She also took treatment for IVU but in vain. “They had been pressurising me for having a male child only. When I told them it’s not under my control, he used to abuse me. He often harassed me mentally and physically”, she stated in her complaint.

Meanwhile, he got her admission done for BA course at a college in Camp and asked her to become friends with his professor friend there.

Police said that there were quarrels between the couple. And he once abandoned her at her mother’s place saying she has extra-marital affairs with the professor. When she threatened to give him the divorce, the accused relented and brought her back saying he was the one who forced her to talk to the professor on phone and make relations with him.

However even after that the quarrels did not stop and the accused became very aggressive and he also morphed her photos with the professor and saved them on his laptop, and threatened to use them in court.

As he was not mending his ways, the woman filed a complaint with Kondhwa police station on Tuesday.

Police have charged the accused of offences under sections 498a (harassment of married woman by husband, in-laws), 323 (assault), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation), 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
