Techie dies by suicide after killing wife and son

The man has been identified as Sudipto Ganguly (44), a resident of Aundh. He may have taken the extreme step after killing his wife Priyanka (40) and son Tanishk (8), according to an estimate by Chatuhshrungi police station. Sudipto Ganguly was not picking up his phone on Tuesday night. His brother staying in Bengaluru was trying to locate him through his friends. He lodged a complaint at the Chatuhshrungi police station about the disappearance of his brother and his family.
On Wednesday morning, Sudipto’s brother came to Pune. When the police reached Sudipto’s residence in Aundh, they found three bodies in the house. A polythene bag had been tied to Sudipto’s wife’s and son’s mouth. The police are carrying out an investigation. According to early reports, it appears that Sudipto died by suicide after killing his wife and son. The police are trying to find out why Sudipto took the extreme step. Senior police officials have rushed to the spot. Sudipto was working as a software engineer in TCS but information about his designation is not available.
