Sushant Singh Rajput Case : CBI Will Now Seek Answers to ‘These’ 15 Questions After SC Verdict

New Delhi : The Supreme Court has cleared the CBI investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case. Now the CBI team will soon start investigation by taking the case file from the Mumbai Police. Justice Hrishikesh Roy has said in the judgment that of course this case comes under the jurisdiction of Mumbai Police, but in this case everybody wants to know the truth. Therefore, the court has decided to hand over the case to the CBI using special power.

Sushant Singh Rajput died on 14 June. His body was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. Initial investigations by Mumbai Police had termed his death as suicide. But on July 25, this case took a new turn when Rajput’s father KK Singh filed a case against Rhea Chakraborty and her family members in Patna.
