Sushant Case : Drug Connection Investigation Intensifies, One More Drug Peddler Arrested By NCB

Mumbai : Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is in constant action in the actor Sushant Singh Rajput case. The NCB has detained another drug peddler. The arrested drug paddler’s name is Basit Parihar. According to an ANI report, the NCB, during an operation against illegal import of drugs, seized nearly 3.5 Kg of (marijuana) bud from foreign post offices.

The two arrested will be further questioned by the NCB team in Mumbai and more important names are expected to emerge after a probe. The ‘drug’ angle had emerged when WhatsApp chats revealing references to banned substances were accessed by the investigating agencies.

The development comes at a time when the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been grilling Rhea Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda and others in connection with the case.

Subsequently, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family members had alleged that he was ‘poisoned’ and ‘murdered’. Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh had said last month in a video “Rhea Chakraborty was giving poison to my son Sushant for a long time, she is the murderer of my son. The investigating agency must arrest her and her associates”.
