Strange BJP worker washed feet of MP, drank same water, politicians rejoiced

Usually, in India, feet of Godly figures are washed with water and the same water is drunk by the followers in order to show respect and love. But, have you heard feet of politicians being washed? In a strange incident, a BJP worker washed feet of MP and drank the same water.

The incident took place in a programme held in Jharkhand based Godda area. A BJP worker who fell in love with MP NIshikant Dubey to such an extent that he washed his feet and drank the same water. The following programme held in Jharkhand included many renowned MLAs, MPs, and political leaders.

During the programme, the worker got hyper excited after the announcement of the construction of a new bridge by lawmaker Nishikant Dubey. After which he climbed up the stage and announced publicly, “If our MP constructs the bridge, I will wash his feet right now and drink the water”. And, after the announcement, he took a plate, made the MP stand on it, washed his feet with water an drank it.

The strangest fact about the whole incident is that the other politicians present there rejoiced the moment, celebrating it happily without any objections.

After a while, Nishikant Dubey was seen on social media, posting pictures of the programme with his feet being washed with the caption, “Today, I feel ashamed and very low about myself as Pavan Shah, a famous BJP worker today washed my feet to express the happiness of the announcement of the construction of bridge. I wished I got the opportunity to do the same for my parents.”

Common people worship their gods and idols, but worshipping the politicians in such way is a new trend it seems, which the people are unaware of. The incident of Jharkhand is a live example of such.
