Students copying during online exams will be put in jail, says SPPU

The Savitribai Phule Pune University has issued a warning that a criminal case will be registered against those found copying during an online examination. A case will be filed against such students under the IT Act.
Online education started after the corona epidemic and online exams are also being held. However, it has been found that malpractices are taking place during the online examinations. The SPPU has appealed to students not to indulge in illegal practices during online examinations. Many students were found resorting to illegal methods during online exams in the last two years. Hence, the university has tightened the rules this year.
Some provisions of IT Act, 2016 are applicable to irregularities in online examinations. Hence, those found guilty will have to face strict action. Hence, students have been told to sincerely solve the paper by the university.
