Speaker may take action against Azam Khan

NPnews24 Online: Samajwadi Party leader and Member of Parliament Azam Khan stoked a huge controversy in the Lok Sabha with his objectionable remarks against BJP MP Rama Devi, who was conducting the proceedings of the house in absence of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.

There has been uproar in the house in second day post Azam Khan remark and several leaders raised voice against his remarks, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in Lok Sabha, Azam Khan should apologize or else he should be suspended from Lok Sabha, he demanded.

Also BJP MP Smriti Irani said the entire nation watched yesterday what happened, this house passed the sexual harassment of women at workplace bill. She said further, “I appeal to all to speak in one voice- you cannot misbehave with a woman and get away with it by just dramatizing it.
