Pune doctor dies by drowning in Sina river

Solapur : NpNews24 Online Solapur Crime | A doctor from Pune died by drowning when he had gone for a swim in the Sina river. The incident took place near the barrage at Ridhore in Madha taluka of Solapur district. The doctor has been identified as Dr Rehan Arif Sayed (26), a resident of Indapur, Pune. (Solapur Crime)

 

Dr Rehan Sayed was on a visit to the farm of his father’s friend Sanjay Sarode, a resident of Mhaisgaon, Madha taluka. When it became hot in the afternoon, he went for a swim with Aman Syed and Jibran Syed in the Sina river. When he was enjoying swimming, he did not realise that he had reached the gate of the barrage. Since Dr Rehan was tired, he could not swim and come ashore.

 

The two others who were with Dr Rehan, pulled him out of the river in an unconscious state. He was admitted to Kurduwadi rural hospital. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival. Dr Rehan had studied MBBS from a college in Pune. He was practising in Solapur civil hospital at present. Based on the information given by Avez Jaleel Moulani, a case of accidental death has been recorded at Kurduwadi police station.
