SN Srivastava to be Delhi’s New Police Commissioner, will Replace Amulya Patnaik

New Delhi: In Delhi, Special Police Commissioner (Law and Order) SN Srivastava, appointed to control the violence that erupted in the name of Citizenship Amendment Act, will now be the next Police Commissioner of Delhi.  SN Srivastava will replace Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik. Srivastava, along with the army during Operation All Out in Jammu and Kashmir, completely eliminated the Hizbul Mujahideen.
SN Srivastava, who was Special Commissioner of Anti Terror Cell of Delhi Police, has been made ADG of CRPF’s Western Zone earlier. While ADG in CRPF, he took many big decisions to completely eliminate the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.

SN Srivastava, a 1985 batch IPS officer, is counted among the brave officers who kept a close watch on the terrorists in Kashmir and played an important role in freeing it from terrorism. In 2017, when SN Srivastava got an opportunity to work with CRPF in South Kashmir, he carried out an anti-terror operation. During this time, many Hizbul commanders were killed. While working with the CRPF in Jammu and Kashmir, he carried out many major operations with great seriousness. Srivastava, who was sent from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir posting, was later made Special DG (Training) of CRPF.  Srivastava’s team killed all Hizbul Mujahideen militants in Jammu and Kashmir under Operation All Out.
