SKM firm on holding Rakesh Tikait’s ‘Maha Panchayat’ in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal

In view of growing corona infection in Maharashtra, the farmer mahapanchayat in Yavatmal was not allowed. Despite this, the core committee of Samyukta Kisan Morcha has again applied for permission for the Mahapanchayat on Friday.

The District Magistrate has authorized the Superintendent of Police to take a decision on this. There is confusion about whether there will be a mahapanchayat or not.

Significant restrictions have been imposed in Amravati, Yavatmal and Akola in Vidarbha, including Mumbai, Pune, as Corona infection increases. In view of this, District Magistrate MD Singh had already made it clear that Kisan Mahapanchayat will not be allowed.

Here, on behalf of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, it has been said that they have the support of the Maharashtra government in the farmers movement in Delhi. Now when the Mahapanchayat is being held here, efforts are being made to stop it.

Vidarbha convenor of the Morcha Shrikant Taral said that the farmers mahapanchayat will be held at the Azad Maidan on Saturday at a fixed time. On the other hand, Vidarbha farmer leader Kishore Tiwari said that if the Mahapanchayat is not allowed in Azad Maidan, then there will be an online Mahapanchayat.
