Scientists Claims ‘Antiparasitic’ Drug can Kill Coronavirus within 24-48 Hours

New Delhi : Coronavirus has caused panic all over the world. Thousands are dying every day in the country and abroad. The death toll in America has reached close to 60 thousand. So far 940 people have died from Corona in India. 29662 people have been found to be corona positive. In which 7,174 people have been cured. Meanwhile, scientists have made a big claim. According to which, the coronavirus can be eradicated in 24-48 hours with a medicine.

Scientists have made a new claim in the treatment of corona. Infectious disease specialist Dr. Nirav Shah of NorthShore University Health System of America has said that the anti parasitic (insecticide) drug ivermectin can kill the virus in two days. According to Shah, this drug is safe and can be found worldwide. Dr Kylie Wogstaff of the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute in Melbourne, Australia also says that she has found in the study that a single dose of the drug can eliminate the RNA of the virus within 48 hours or 24 hours.

Dr. Jacques Rezter of Broward Health Medical Center in Florida says that they are already using this drug to treat the infected. The effect of the drug is also visible. Similarly, Dr. Amit Patel of Utah University said in research, “Ivermectin had better results in severe patients whose lungs were damaged and who were on ventilator.”
