Schools emphasize on revision, question paper solving for class 10th, 12th students

Pune: Schools are trying their best to get the students of 10th and 12th classes to prepare for the board examination. The schools have focused on solving the question papers from the students, emphasizing on writing, as well as revising the syllabus taught in the online lectures.

Emphasis is being placed on revising the curriculum taught online. 80 to 85 percent of the syllabus has been completed. The rest of the course will be completed in the next few days. However, since the end of December 2020, schools have been giving priority to solving board question papers from students. Students have been taking online lessons for nine months due to schools being shut in the backdrop of Covid-19. Thus teachers have observed that as a result, the practice of writing has been significantly reduced.

To remain stress free, Counsellor Ketki Kulkarni has advised the following:

–        Prepare a timetable to study according to a schedule

–        Assuming the time of the exam, one should get in the habit of sitting in one place

–        Practice writing

–        There should be continuity in the practice of recitation and reading.

–        Parents, teachers and students should communicate with each other.

Tejaswini Rajput, Headmistress of Gopal High School said, “We are emphasizing on solving the question papers in time from the students of class X. If the students did not understand what was being taught in online classes, we’re teaching them again”.

Rohidas Bharmal, Headmaster of Bhave High School said, “Teachers are instructed to review the curriculum taught in the online classroom. Emphasis is also being laid on solving more and more question papers by the students”.
