Sanction of funds for beneficiaries of Vayoshri Yojana and ADIP scheme: Baramati MP Supriya Sule meets Union Minister Virendra Kumar
NEW DELHI : Baramati NCP MP Supriya Sule | Pre check up camps have been conducted in all talukas of Baramati Lok Sabha constituency in the last one year under the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana and ADIP scheme for differently-abled. Baramati MP Supriya Sule has appealed to the Centre to sanction funds to the Social Justice Department to help in purchase of necessary aids. (Baramati NCP MP Supriya Sule)
Sule met Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Virendra Kumar and had a detailed discussion on the issue. Both the schemes which are aimed at providing necessary aids to senior citizens and the differently-abled. Many beneficiaries have enrolled in the scheme and 1 lakh people have been examined.
Now, the time has come for distribution of aids but the Social Justice Department says funds are not available. Against this background, Supriya Sule met Virendra Kumar and urged him to sanction funds which would enable early distribution of aids. Sule said the meeting was fruitful and funds would be made available soon.
