Robbers strike at jewellery shop in Undri by breaking open common wall between shop and school

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime | Thieves entered a jewellery shop by breaking open the common wall of a shop and a school and decamped with gold and silver ornaments along with the DVR. (Pune Crime)

 

Malamsingh Pirsingh Rathod (42), a resident of Kondhwa, has lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa police station. The incident took place at New Khimande Jewellers shop located at Undri from 8.30 pm on Saturday to 10 am on Sunday.

 

According to the police, Rathod has a shop New Khimande Jewellers at Undri chowk. The shop and a school have a common wall. He had locked the shop on Saturday and gone home. When he opened the shop on Sunday morning, he came to know about the robbery. The thieves entered the shop by breaking open the common wall between the shop and the school. The thieves took away silver ornaments weighing 4940 gm and DVR totally worth Rs 3 lakh 11 thousand 400.

 

After being informed about the incident, DCP Namrata Patil and senior PI Sardar Patil visited the spot. An attempt was also made to trace the accused by taking help of police dogs and PSI Wagare is investigating the case.
