Rhea Denies Drug Charges In CBI Inquiry, Says Sushant Used To Take ‘Marijuana’
Mumbai : In the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Rhea Chakraborty was questioned for four days. Rhea was questioned for 35 hours in these 4 days. On Tuesday, the CBI is questioning Rhea’s family. Rhea was questioned for 9 hours on Monday. The CBI also questioned Rhea about the drug connection. In response, Rhea said that she has never taken drugs.
According to the source, Rhea told the CBI officials during questioning that I have never taken drugs. Rhea claimed Sushant used to smoke marijuana before meeting her. When Rhea was asked about the drugs chat, the actress denied everything saying that she did not do all that conversation. Rhea could not give a satisfactory reply to the CBI regarding her chat with Goa businessman Gaurav Arya in 2017.
Recently, Rhea and Gaurav Arya’s chat went viral. In which the two talked about drugs. The CBI is investigating Rhea’s claims. She is confirming Rhea’s statements by cross checking other witnesses Shruti Modi, Jaya Shah. Apart from the CBI, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is also investigating the drugs angle. In a chat between Rhea and Gaurav, Rhea Chakraborty was telling Gaurav that she has tried MDMA once.
On the other hand, Gaurav’s lawyer says that his client is innocent, all the allegations are false and baseless. The lawyer said that Gaurav Arya and Sushant Singh Rajput had no connection. Gaurav had contact with Rhea in 2017, but has nothing to do with any incident of 2020. On the other hand, the ED is questioning Gaurav Arya on the second day regarding the drugs case.
