Rhea Chakraborty did not name other actresses in NCB statement: Lawyer

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) investigation into the drugs case have so far revealed the names of several actresses. The summons have been sent to Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Rakul Preet Singh. Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer says that the actress has not named any other artist in this case and it is just been fabricated.

Earlier, there were reports that Rhea Chakraborty had named Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh in drug angle in Sushant’s Death case. It is said she also revealed in the statement that Sushant became a drug addict while shooting with Sara for Kedarnath. Similarly, Shraddha Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s chat revealed their drugs connection in which both actresses were asking for drugs. Taking action, NCB sent summons to all the four actresses.

Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said in a TV interview that ‘Rhea has not named anyone in her statement. If NCB or anyone else leaks their statement then it is completely wrong. Rhea Chakraborty has named no one except that Sushant Singh Rajput used to consume drugs. ‘

When Sathish Maneshinde was asked about Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant’s manager Jaya Saha’s chat, he said that ‘Jaya Saha’s chat with Sushant and Rhea was only to prescribe or send CBD oil which is made from hemp leaves extract which is not a drug. You can see the CBD bottle, there is nothing related to drugs in it’.
