Retired Special Inspector General of Police, Makarand Ranade Elected as State Information Commissioner Along with Two Other Officers

Pune: Yesterday, retired Special Inspector General of Police Makarand Madhusudan Ranade, Shekhar Manohar Channe, and Dr. Pradeep Kumar Vyas were elected as State Information Commissioners. In a closely organised event, State Lokayukta Justice V. M. Kanade administered the oath to all three officers. At that time, a large number of administrative officers were present for the occasion.

The swearing-in ceremony for the posts of State Information Commissioner was concluded in the State Mantralaya Building in Mumbai. At that time, State Chief Information Commissioner Sameer Sahai, Upper Chief Secretary General Administration Department Sujata Saunik, Rajgopal Deora, Nitin Gadre, Former Chief Electoral Officer Shrikant Deshpande, and State Information Commissioner of Nagpur Bench Rahul Pandey and State Information Commissioner of Nashik Bench Bhupendra Gurav were present on this occasion.
