Pune’s Police Station Becomes the First with ISO Ranking

A police station in Pune has got the honor of being the first ISO-rated Police Station. Recently, the ISO 9001:2015 ranking has been provided to Mundhwa Police Station.

In the first ever meeting of police officers held by City Police Commissioner K Venkatesham, he had ordered to keep the police station and premises clean. In addition, instructions were given to keep the room clean and properties safe. Accordingly, Mundhwa Police Station took special efforts to fulfill all the required criteria of ISO which are around 105.

According to the senior police inspector Anil Patrudkar, “The ISO 9001:2015 certification is for quality management and control. In the case of police stations, it is a reflection of petitioner satisfaction and how the case is handled from the moment it is filed till it is completed.”

Considering the total number of issues of various aspects like Infrastructure, Practical Working Mobility, Social Policing Check Status, Crime expose rate, Document and Record Keeping, Emergency Response System, Quality Management System, etc. and including such criteria, observing total 105 criteria, ISO Certificate has been given to Mundhwa Police Station at the hands of Additional Police Commissioner of Eastern Region, Sunil Phulari.

While giving the ranking, Prakash Gaikwad of Police Deputy Commissioner Circle-5, Assistant Police Commissioner of Wanwadi Department Milind Patil, senior police inspector of Mundhwa police station Anil Patrudkar, Director of Bharat Ford, Dr Santosh Bhave, HR Manager A B Shah and many people were present. As well as local people of Mundhwa representatives were present on the occasion.
