Pune’s divisional commissioner asked to stay at home quarantine

Pune: The Divisional Commissioner of Pune Dr. Deepak Mhaisekar has been advised to home quarantine after reports of his car driver came COVID-19 positive on Tuesday, said sources.

As a part of precautionary measures till the reports arrive, he will stay at home.

Dr. Mhaisekar has been into service and handling all-important role in the fight against coronavirus. Earlier in the week, he said, “According to the state government asymptomatic Covid-19 patients would be kept under home quarantine for 17 days.” and the same will follow in Pune.

Mhaisekar holds an important portfolio in various administrative positions till now. Dr. Mhaisekar will be going to retire on July 31 from the service.
