Pune: Youth from Manjari killed over old animosity

Pune: A 28-year-old youth was murdered by a group last night near Manjari. The deceased has been identified as Aniket Ghaitadak, resident of Manjari. According to Police, the incident took place near Manjari Gramsevak Training center on Friday night,  when the deceased and suspect Shubham had a dispute over looking at each other. Shubham and his four aides  assaulted Aniket with sharp weapons.

Aniket, in the past, has a record of criminal cases. The Mundhwa Police had booked him for Attempting to murder few months ago, however there is no criminal gang connection in that same matter, said senior Police Inspector Balkrishna Kadam attached with the Hadapsar Police station. Police have arrested Shubham.
