Pune – Youth caught trying to break open ICICI bank ATM

NPNEWS24 Online : Pune – A night patrol team of the Vishrantwadi police arrested a man, while he was attempting to steal cash from an ATM machine in Vishrantwadi area. The police team apprehended him when he was opening parts of the machine in the ATM kiosk.

Police constable VB Khade has lodged an FIR against arrested accused Vishal Ramakant Chabuskar (21), a native of Latur district.

According to police, the incident took place around 2.30 am near Kashiganga society on Dhanori road. Constable Khade was going to sign register at the gate of Palladium Homes society,when he heard noise from the ATM. When he went to check, he found Chabuskar trying to open the ATM with screw drivers. He was taken to the police station and a case was filed against him.

Police sub inspector AS Chaugule is further investigating the case.
