Pune: Young entrepreneur Punit Balan visits Poona District Police Co-operative Credit Society; promises to extend support

Pune: Young entrepreneur Punit Balan visited the Poona District Police Co-operative Credit Society’s office, which has been working for officers and personnel in the Pune City Police force for over 100 years now. He extended his good wishes to the newly elected Board of Directors and promised to co-operate in all initiatives of the institution.

Punit Balan Group always organises various programmes for the police officials and personnel. To express its gratitude, the Poona District Police Co-operative Credit Society invited Balan to its office. Thus Balan visited the Society’s office at the Police Lines in Somwar Peth and learnt about their work. Society Chairman Vitthal Ghorpade welcomed him and apprised him about their work.

The Poona District Police Co-operative Credit Society was established in June 1920. Around 13,000 police officers and personnel from Pune City, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune District Rural Police, CID, Crime, SRPF, ACB, SID, Wireless and other departments are its members. Various initiatives are conducted by the Society for the police officers and personnel. The Society received ISO certification in 2021 due to its accurate and precise work.

The Board of Directors was elected last month. Punit Balan interacted with the newly elected Directors and congratulated them. He also praised the Society’s work and promised to help in every possible way.
