Pune: Woman ends life along with her 9-month-old toddler at Loni Kalbhor

Pune: A married woman from Loni Kalbhor died by suicide along with her nine-month-old daughter. The incident took place on Monday (December 14) at around 9.30 pm near Loni Kalbhor Corner on the Pune-Daund railway line.

The deceased have been identified as Sheetal Devram Makhwane (22) and Shubhra (9 months). According to the police, the bodies of Shital and Shubhra were found on the Pune-Daund railway line around 9.30 pm on Monday night near Rama Krishi Rasayan Limited company at Loni Kalbhor.

After receiving information about the incident, Loni Kalbhor police sent the bodies to the government hospital in Pune for autopsy. Further investigation is being conducted by Sub-Inspector of Police Sandeep Borkar.
